How to Get Your Property & Casualty License

1. Prepare for the State Licensing Exam

Texas does not require pre-licensing education, but the exam is challenging. A prep course gives you the tools and confidence to pass on your first try.

2. Schedule and Pass the State Exam

Register for the Texas General Lines Property & Casualty licensing exam through Pearson VUEEn Tx Insurance.html Us. You'll need a passing score to move forward.

3. Get Fingerprinted

Schedule fingerprinting through IdentoGO. Your fingerprints will be submitted to the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) as part of your background check.

4. Apply for Your License

Submit your license application to the Texas Department of Insurance via Sircon or NIPR. You’ll need to pay the application fee and upload the required documents.

5. Start Your Insurance Career

Once approved, you’ll receive your license from the TDI and can begin selling property and casualty insurance in Texas.

It's Amazing For People Who Live a Busy Lifestyle!
One thing I really liked is that it's great for people with a busy schedule! You get the material beforehand and then you knock it out in 2 days online. I work 2 part time jobs so this program was awesome for me!

Frequently Asked Questions

Ace Mode

What's Ace Mode, and how does it help me pass the Texas insurance exam?

Ace Mode is our adaptive practice system built into the course. Instead of guessing where you're weak, it tracks your performance across every topic and builds personalized practice sessions that target what you actually need to work on. Here's what that means for you:

  • No wasted time reviewing topics you already know
  • Automatic focus on weak spots before they sink your exam score
  • A built-in readiness indicator that tells you when you're actually ready to book

Basically, it removes the guesswork from study prep. You stop studying everything "just in case" and start studying exactly what the exam is going to test you on.
